After suffering through heartbreak, Rose is determined to move on without Lee. She can’t cling to her first love forever, and she knows that. As long as he’s happy with his decision, she’ll struggle to move on.

But when Lee’s sister Grace invites her to a photoshoot in the French Alps for spring break, Rose quickly realizes it’s a trap – Lee and his new fiance Kiera are there too. Kiera toys mercilessly with Lee and Rose and their feelings for each other.

Even if Rose can muster the courage to be happy for him and Lee can suppress his pent-up desire for her, neither of them can deny there is something more that ties them together than love and lust.

The story of a nerdy girl in college struggling to stay perfect and the playboy rich kid who wants her.
Rose’s struggle to stay perfect in school to keep her scholarship are totally believable. So when this gorgeous guy starts paying attention to her, it is easy to see how she is both wary but intrigued.
I liked that Lee was cocky, but not a jerk about it. I felt his pain that she couldn’t remember meeting him as children. Their budding romance was delightful.
Then “the twist”. I was definitely surprised by it- which is a good thing! I didn’t know which way it would go. It definitely kept me reading and then growling when it ended as it did.
I am not a fan of the cliffhanger. Luckily I also had book 2 at the ready.
Thoroughly enjoyable book. Not just sticky sweet romance or straight up sex. There is a good story there.
By only issue was the UCLA-San Francisco thing. First, NO ONE in California calls it San Fran. That is as bad as calling it Frisco. And it is not an easily drivable distance between UCLA and San Francisco. Details like that make me crazy in a book.
That aside, read this book.

Luckily book 2 only jumps ahead a few months in the lives of Lee and Rose. Even after her brief time with Lee and her new friendship with Grace, Rose still beats herself up. I got sick of hearing her say she wasn’t pretty enough or didn’t have a hot enough body. Ugh! She got paid to model. Insecure women make me crazy.
Enough about that. I love that this book took them to a different location. That Rose got to meet new people in the story. I thoroughly enjoyed the drama of Keira and her craziness.
The love story was unique in that it wasn’t just a misunderstanding that led to their break up initially, it was so much more. The deeper you get the more you love Lee and everything he is doing for Rose without her knowledge.
I won’t give spoilers, but if you read Arranged, definitely read Disarranged. I don’t think you will be disappointed.
